Scenic Platinum Protection Plan (“PPP”)

The Platinum Protection Plan (“PPP”) is available for new river and ocean cruising bookings for travel after 1 January 2022 for Scenic and Emerald Cruises (“Eligible Booking”). By adding this plan, you are covered if you unable to travel due to health reasons, or your travel plans are impacted by COVID-19, up to 31 days prior to departure with a 100% refund (less airline cancellation fees and PPP cost), or a 70% refund between 15 and 30 days prior to departure (less PPP cost).

The PPP must be purchased together with the Eligible Booking at time such booking is made and may not be added at a later date. The PPP is provided at a cost of $395 per person per river cruise, $495 per person per cruise on Emerald Cruises yacht cruising and $595 per person per cruise on Scenic Eclipse voyages (“PPP Fee”).
 
The PPP is not available on Oberammergau, Amazon and Galapagos cruises or land tours.

Balance: Final Payment is due on or before 10 months plus 7 days 2024 on our Super Early bird offer. Failure to pay the balance will result in substantial increase in fare and loss of the free airfare offer .( air promotions and extra promotions will be removed ).

CANCELLATION DATES AND PENALTIES .

90 days and over $500.00 per person non-refundable

89-60 days prior to departure 35% of tour price non-refundable

59-30 days prior to departure 50% of tour price non-refundable

Less than 30 days prior to departure 100% of tour price non-refundable

Flights are non-refundable at time of ticketing and are Third Party. FTC Bookings – all monies on FTC remain non-refundable

Terms & Conditions

All offers are inventory controlled, strictly limited on selected suite types on set departures, subject to availability until sold out, and may be withdrawn at any time without notice. Valid for new bookings only. Best Available offer is not combinable with Flexi Fare offer. 

 

Offer is for new bookings only and not available for bookings using a Future Travel Credit (FTC) Voucher. Full payment is due 10 months prior to departure for Best Available offers to apply. For cruises booked within 10 months of departure, full payment is required at time of booking. Once sold out or if full payment is not received the standard Flexi Fare offer or best available offer will apply. Special airfare offer, available on select departures. A non-refundable deposit of $500 per person is due within 2 days of booking with full payment required 10 months prior to departure. Scenic reserves the right to ticket the airfare upon receipt of deposit. Flights promotion is valid from 11 gateways across Canada towards the international Economy Class airfare to Europe. This flight promotion is valid on specific classes of service with scheduled airlines of Scenic’s choice. Total ticket cost, including taxes, not to exceed $1,800 per person and $2,850 for Premium Economy . Tax and ticket surcharges may apply. Included gateways: YHZ Halifax; YYZ Toronto; YOW Ottawa; YUL Montreal; YQR Regina; YXE Saskatoon; YWG Winnipeg; YEG Edmonton; YYC Calgary; YVR Vancouver; and YYJ Victoria. Flights from other Canadian airports will incur surcharges. Flights must be booked by Scenic and are based on the brochure tour dates. Any requests outside of the tour dates may incur seasonal surcharges. Flights must be booked within 11-6 months to departure. If not booked during this time, Scenic reserves the right to remove the flight offer and replace it with a savings in lieu of flights. Once flights have been booked, the flight tickets are 100% non-refundable and non-changeable. Full airline terms and conditions apply at all times. Savings applicable on the cruise element only, excludes port charges, land extensions, hotel stays and other additional items. Groups: Offers apply to new groups booked and deposited during promotional period. No retro activity.

Any maps or other route depictions are intended as an indication only and are subject to change. All beverages are included except for a very small number of fine and vintage wines, Champagnes and spirits. Salt Therapy Lounge not available on all ships. Wellness Area treatments at an additional cost. E-bikes not available on all ships. Airport transfers are only available on the first and last day of your tour and at times we designate.

MEDICAL, MOBILITY AND OTHER SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS . All medical, mobility and health issues must be noted in the booking record at time of booking. Forms are required to be completed in Trip Personalizor prior to final payment for those guests with mobility issues, health concerns, sleep apnea or oxygen machines, etc. Scenic Cruises cannot accommodate completely wheelchair bound guests. For safety and enjoyment of all involved, Emerald Cruises has the right to not accept guests with varied limitations. FLEXIBLE BOOKING PLAN & PLATINUM PROTECTION PLAN . Emerald Cruises offers both Flexible Booking Plan & Platinum Protection Plan. Both must be purchased at time of deposit and are non-refundable. TRANSFERS . Arrival and departure airport transfers are included as part of the packages providing guests arrive and depart on cruise/tour start and end dates. Transfers are not included for guests under their own arrangements. Transfers are not included between airport and hotel for pre- or post-tour unless booking is made by Emerald Cruises. It is your responsibility to ensure the parameters are met for arrival and departure for transfers if flights are not booked with Emerald Cruises. YOUNG TRAVELERS S Travelers less than 21 years of age on the departure date must be accompanied by and share a cabin with an adult. Children less than 12 years of age on the departure date are not accepted, except on a case-by-case basis. VACCINATIONS & DOCUMENTATION FOR TRAVEL S It is the sole responsibility of guests to ensure that they meet all entry requirements for vaccinations and documentation imposed by countries of entry and Scenic Cruises. Scenic Cruises is not responsible should guests require further testing or quarantine prior or after sailing. Scenic Cruises has the right to take all precautionary measures if guests require quarantining on ship. Compensation for same will not be given.

If You do not obtain adequate travel insurance You accept You may not be able to recover costs in relation to Your Journey Price in the event of cancellation or material changes made to Your Journey or itinerary.
